The class considered many potential solutions, but ultimately landed on a Golf Simulator Business. They are now being tasked with building the funding rounds to start, build, and scale the business.

Our student-athletes are building something special and are looking for 30 businesses to help launch their business.

Why It Matters?

What the $50,000 buys

This is about more than just starting a business; it is about funding the education of our current and future athletes while keeping youth sports accessible to all. Once operational, 100% of profits will fund new and exciting programs, keep kids in the game, and build a college scholarship fund for our student-athletes. The seed round will fund the equipment and technology needed to launch.

$15,000 – Golf Technology

The business centers on TrackMan golf technology. This line item will cover the purchase of the technology.

$12,500 – Space Build-out

Each golf bay will need screens, seating, and other structural support to ensure golfers’ safety.

$10,000 – Training Equipment

Each golf bay will be outfitted with golf clubs, balls, and other training equipment needed to operate the simulators.

$7,500 – 12-Month Lease

The students negotiated a killer lease for the first year; this cost will help the business thrive.

$5,000 – Launch Campaign

The initial marketing campaign will include advertising at golf courses and digital marketing.
